Premier Global Van Lines LLC

This is literally a scam company that seeks to raise prices once they take possession of your valuables and/or steal upfront deposits. The upfront wiring of funds rather than credit card should be a dead giveaway, but unfortunately so many similar scams exist you might be tricked into thinking this is normal. I repeat, this is 100% a SCAM. They arrived 4 days late, several days after the backup “emergency date” and used a third party mover that did not have proper instructions, address or packaging (despite “Premier” claiming to not be a broker). They then told us the move would be DOUBLE the price (~$12k) last minute despite already walking through a detailed list of items previously and quoting ~$6k. They increased the price without providing an updated contract in writing, which of course is absurd and illegal, and then refused to return our deposit despite breaching our prior contract (i.e. the contract we had agreed to at half the price, move date 4 days prior). The representatives then tried to convince us to give them our valuables and negotiate the price later. See attachment for relevant predatory conduct from representative Casey Dyer. We will be filing official complaints with the DOT, attorney general, etc. to prompt audits and more. Spread the word- this is a scam company.

I have been living in Jeanette, Pa for about three months now and I hired Premier Global Van Lines to help me get the rest of my stuff from Colorado. I only took my necessities because my mother had gotten sick. My parents are getting older and I’ve been staying with them to help with their needs while trying to close on a house here. My representative Julian knew that and helped me plan this move without having to be in Colorado for the pick up! A friend of mine was there and helped over see everything and the movers worked so hard for us. This company has fair prices and go above and beyond  to help make the move less stressful.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4101

Premier Global Van Lines is not a legitimate moving company. They are crooks and liars. We paid $2,500 towards a deposit after being told we would receive “white glove service” by their own movers because they were not a broker and only used their own vans and direct employees. They didn’t show up on the day of the move or the back up date. 4 days after the move was scheduled, two guys showed up from a completely different company and said they had no packing materials and weren’t aware they were supposed to be handling the packing for us. They quoted us double the price and said they wouldn’t provide a new contract in writing with the new price either.

We followed up with Premier and they said to go ahead and let these people pack our items (knowing fully well that they didn’t have the safety packing material to protect our valuables) and that they’d figure it out with us later.

We refused to let them take our items without a new contract and now they’ve declined to return our $2,500 deposit. We’ve followed up and asked to be contacted by management and they are non responsive now.

Do NOT hire this company.

We worked with Casey, Zena, Leigh, and Anna. All lied about the services that would be provided. Do not trust anything they say.

We are engaging a legal team to pursue the deposit refund.

I was initially contacted by a company called Moving and Storage Squad, which gave a great sales pitch and a reasonable binding estimate for my Boston to DC move ($4800). The deposit charges showed up as two separate charges, one that said Moving and Storage Squad, and the other that said Premier.

I heard nothing from either company until 3 days before my move to review my inventory. At that stage, the estimate DOUBLED to $8800, supposedly because my 65 boxes of medium and large size were so much more volume than the 100 medium boxes in the initial estimate. Then the paperwork for the revised estimate looked identical to the original contract except that the company name was changed everywhere (even in the email of the sales person).

At that stage my hands were tied because my house was closing 2 days after my pickup date and my stuff needed to be out. When I signed the original contract, the scam sales guy had convinced me they do the whole move door-to-door, no sub-contracting. What a LIE! The day of the move (which by the way got pushed back from the original date to my backup date at 9pm the night before I thought the truck was coming), a rental truck showed up with workers from some moving company in New Jersey who charged $11,000 (would have been $12000 but the driver took off $1000 for tipping his guys $800). Tons of my stuff was broken and I'm out $11k.

Have filed DOT and BBB complaints against all 3 companies that I dealt with. If anyone has successfully gotten money back or pursued legal action against this company, please contact me.

If I could give a negative star I would. This company destroyed and stole many of my things (lost over $12K in property). Not to mention quoting me $4500 and charging me over $11K. (bait and switch). When not receiving my things for over 6 weeks, I drove 3-hours to the company address on the website, which was the owner's house, to find a little old lady who didn't speak English. She gave my card to the owner, who did call me back, but I am still out over $23K. Worst experience of my life. I've moved many times with the military and have never been through so much hell! AVOID this company at ALL Costs! Have reported to the Attny General. I'm writing this review in hopes that no one has to go through what I did.

I have no complaints about this company, but plenty of complaints on having to move! I was so stressed but, I will say choosing Premier Global Van Lines LLC helped me in so many ways. My wife and I are going through a divorce. All of my family is back in Arizona so I decided it would be best for me to move back there. It was a lot to handle and figure out in a short period of time. Louis helped me go through everything I had to pack and even sent out boxes too. When the movers got here they were super patient because I ended up having more stuff (shocker) and aside from my ex wife being in the way and complaining about everything the pick up went great!! The movers made sure they weren't going to arrive to Arizona before I did. Premier made this a lot easier on than I expected. Great company!

Do not use this company if you want your move to happen. The movers did not show up, I couldn’t get in touch with anyone (most numbers said “inactive number”), and, when I finally talked to someone, they did not seek to help or improve my experience at all. They actually said it was my fault and that they wouldn’t return my deposit. In contrast, I hired another company, and they talked me through the whole process, made sure the movers communicated with me, and made a terrible situation very easy. I would never use Premier Global Vanlines again, and I will dissuade anyone else from using them. Poorest customer service I have ever experienced.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $8575

I was contacted via phone by their representative Jordan. I tell him I’ve received several quotes and already chose someone for my move. He stated they guarantee to be the lowest rate and could accommodate my move for two weeks later. I paid my payment and signed a contract. Two days before my move their dispatch calls me and tells me the truck won’t make it on Tuesday and will have to make it Wednesday. Wednesday rolls around and I have to call them to see where the driver is. They inform we Wednesday won’t work and would put me on for Friday/Saturday at the latest. Friday rolls around and I call them 11 times with absolutely no answer ever. Finally they call me and tell me Saturday between 2 and 4 the driver will be there to start loading my stuff. Saturday 3pm rolls around and I hear nothing. I attempted to call another 10 times with no success. They later call me at 610pm and tell me their driver isn’t going to make it until possible Monday as I’m in a hard area to get to (I’m in a populated area in the center of Michigan, that’s obviously an ottoman excuse). The house they were going to was my rental home in Michigan. They called me the day before I had to fly back to my home in Texas to inform me they couldn’t make the trip that day. So I’ve been back in Texas since Wednesday and it’s very frustrating as I made it very clear to them that I had to be out of that house in Michigan by that Saturday the 31st of July as I’ll no longer be allowed to enter the property as my lease is up. So not only did they lie to ken4 times with false dates of the drivers arriving I’m now at risk of losing my furniture they’re supposed to move as well as a fee for the landlord having to remove the stuff from the property. I’m out a lot of money and all they keep saying is they can refund the money. Well I made the t clear in the beginning that that won’t work as others are two weeks out and I’m going to lose my belongings and furniture. This is a horrible position to put a customer in and I get absolutely no updates from them and not even an apology. This company is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. The attorney generals office was contacted and y stated they have received other complaints with this company and working them all diligently. I’ll update this come Monday and see if they pick my stuff up or not. I will sue this company and make damn sure they go under to prevent this shadyness from happening to anyone else. You will definitely want to stay away from this company as they collect you money and turn completely unprofessional from there. Will update Monday August 1, 2021 after their excuse or resolution.

The moving guys were great (I used them for two different jobs), very punctual the first time and slightly late for the second but made up time driving to the delivery spot. A bit of discombobulation around our second booking from central office. A lesson learned - if you don't get a courtesy call the day before the pick-up, be sure to ring them to make sure they have your booking record. We sorted it out in the end and the job itself was done efficiently. Just work on training the team slightly more.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use this company!!! The "salesperson", was very nice and chatty when we signed up for the moving service from AZ to MN. They were supposed to arrive on Thursday, August 5th, but we got a call on Tuesday, August 3rd indicating they needed to use our backup date of Friday, August 6th 4-6pm. Since we were closing at noon on that Friday, I asked if they could see if there was any way to change the time. The woman calling said she would check and call me back. I heard nothing back. So Friday morning I called the "salesperson" on his cell phone because he said when we gave them our deposit "if you have any issues call me directly on my cell phone!!" I wanted to find out when the truck would be coming. He was on his way in to work and said he would call me back...that was 7:30am. Heard nothing...called again, but he blocked my number. Texted...no response!! Email...no response. Then at 3:24 pm Thursday afternoon, the salesperson texted (not called) to say "You have to reschedule. I apologize. We will process your refund." Later in the day, when I told him what a bind we were in with this cancellation, he said he would contact dispatch right away (3:35 pm) and see what they can do. Again, never heard back. We ended up renting a UHaul!! Then when we were driving back on Sunday, August 8, we got a call saying they wanted to schedule our pickup!!! I was livid!! Told that person the story and she said as soon as she gets back to the office on Monday morning, she would issue the refund.

Now it is August 31 and no refund has been seen. I emailed the salesperson about the refund he said he was going to process...no response, of course, and just called their customer service and they advised me that they no longer use that merchant for payments so I had to contact my credit card company!!

What a terrible experience!! Again, DO NOT use them and if you do decide to take the chance, have a back up plan!!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $954

If I could give this janky company 0 stars, I would! I am so angry at the level of service, or should I say non-service as they literally did absolutely nothing. They didn't lift not one box, as a matter of fact the driver said that"I should not tell you this but this is the actual amount that you are going to be paying..." In short, the amount discussed with the company as per the contract that I accepted went from $2400 to $6100 dollars. The agreed amount was $2400 with the company, yet the driver truthfully told me what the final charges would be although the company and contract I agreed to didn't mention these other charges. This is how they try to get you. They give a specific agreed price, in which they specify that they only take cash, money order, and bank checks which I purchased for the agreed amount out to make payable to them. Meanwhile you are thinking that is the final price as they make is seem so and do not discuss anything else, you take the service and then you are forced to pay because you have already gone down to the wire because it's moving day. This is when they hit you with the extra fees! They don't give you time or room to make alternate arrangements because at this point, you are unaware of their unscrupulous business tactics! They pigeon hole you into using there services, aren't upfront, are friendly when they are trying to get your business, and then will lie about prices after. After speaking to the representative while the driver was in my presence, the rep Ms. A was rude and completely disrespectful. I chose to speak with this rep to cancel the service, as the new price was sprung upon me and was not the agreed price as per the agreed contract. The rep told me that even if I cancelled the service and even though no services would be rendered there would be no refunds due to the fact that I was "taking money from the driver" because I was not using the services.the CRAZY thing is that the driver showed up late. Three hours late to be exact, three hours after their designated time. I am so disgusted by this company and their practices. I would NEVER recommend their services to anyone, and plan to report them to consumer affairs.

1st, final price 3x more than quote. Broke many items. Lied to by rep...do not use! I was told my items would be only load on truck, when in fact my items were picked up by one place, driven by another and then moved into another truck with 2 other loads for delivery. Initial quote was $6k, final cost was $12k. Mattresses bent in half, fragile items marked fragile all over box, broken. Large items destroyed, desk had 2 holes punched in it, mannequins heads broken off, lamps broken. And cs rep said she'd be with us "all the way", lies. She would not help at all during transport. Became very rude. I am filing a claim AND hiring a lawyer.

This company is the biggest SCAM ever! They took my stuff and failed to deliver it!

On August 17th I contacted Premier Global Van Lines LLC for a quote and spoke to Richard. He did not hesitate to contact me multiple times asking for a deposit saying it’s refundable. I hesitated as I wasn’t sure. After deciding I ended up paying the deposit. Once the payment was made Richard did not contact me anymore. I did text him about asking how much packing is and he contacted me the Friday before the move and that was it.

Berta the mover did contact me on Friday asking if I could get the loading dock reserved for Monday morning. After checking with my apartment complex I confirmed that was fine and all he said was okay. The movers arrived 7 AM without calling or texting saying they were on their way. Berta and another man arrived who took away my boxes and wrapped up my TV, floor lamp, coffee table, mattress, bed frame, and couch. I was up charged saying it was mroe square footage then quoted and they had to use boxes. I told Richard this before hand about by inventory and he told me everything was included in the price which was a lie. I was told delivery by September 1st by Richard since pick up was Monday August 30th and they drive 500 miles a day. Then Berta the mover told me Friday September 3rd to Monday September 6th since it takes about 5-7 days usually. Okay, I can deal with that. After my stuff is picked up I have zero contact with anyone from the company.

Richard doesn’t answer anymore. Matthew answers and transfers the call to a women in the back office who is very rude. She told me today (Friday September 3rd) that it can take up to 30 days!

I have been lied to from day one by Richard. I was also up charged from my original quote by him and Berta charged me extra by square footage.

This company has poor customer service and they do not care about their customers. I am now currently spending more money getting an air bnb since I don’t have any furniture at my new apartment. I would never use this company again. All the good reviews are fake! Be aware.

They were fantastic! They were exceptionally efficient, amazingly careful, and some of the friendliest people I've had the pleasure to meet in a long time. Tony, Melvin and Ryan were the 3 experts that moved our household to GA, and did it in far less time than I had anticipated. They paid careful attention to the details of what I wanted moved, and to where in the new house, even dismantling & putting back together some heavy, over sized items to move them carefully downstairs, accommodating my decorating choices.

Sorry I have to give them even one star. They are a total scam!! I had a contract with this company to pick up my stuff on Saturday the 25th. I checked multiple times to make sure of the date. I have a friend that was going to let them into my storage units as I'm out of the state, so the date had to be confirmed. Then on Wednesday night the "driver" calls and tells me that he'd be there on Thursday to pick up. I said no, Saturday, the day on my contract. He said he isn't working on Saturday and I would have to just deal with it. I call the company and they're closed for the night. The next morning I call and get a gal I'd never talked to before and she tells me as well that the contract doesn't mean anything and that they could pick up on Sunday. That's 2 employees telling me my contract means nothing to this company. So, I contact another company that says they CAN pick up on the correct date. I then contact Premier Global Vans to cancel my contract and get my deposit back. And at this point (afternoon) they say that now they can pick up on my contracted date and that they won't give me my deposit back. IT IS A SCAM. The supervisor says they are a large national company, and that my deposit doesn't matter to them. Well, my deposit matters to me! They have two of their employees to tell me that my contract is worthless, and I'm supposed to accept that what this rude supervisor is now saying is true?? He talked over me the entire time. He didn't care what I had to say as long as he got to talk. Worst experience EVER!!

I chose Premier Global Movers because their customer service representative was outstanding...and that is the best thing I can say. I moved a 2 bedroom house from Illinois to Indiana. My estimate was $9364.24 for 1076 cubic feet. On the day of pick up, my final total was more than $12K because I went over the reserved cubic feet. The only copy of all the paperwork they had me sign that they left in the house was the inventory list, so I don't have any record of pricing and I haven't received an invoice so I can't be sure of exact numbers.

The driver, whom I've never met because he wasn't present at pick-up, only communicates through text. When I call, it goes to voice mail and his voice mailbox is full. I have sent 13 text messages in 17 days and he has responded 4 times.

I called the company hoping to remedy these communication issues with my driver. They transferred me to dispatch and were unsuccessful in contacting him as well. They said they'd get back to me once they contacted him, but they never did.

I've been at my new address for 3 days now and I still haven't received confirmation of delivery or an invoice. I had to purchase a futon and card tables just to have a place to eat, sleep, and work.

As far as I am concerned, a company is only as good as the people it employs and based on my experience, one star is generous. I can say with every confidence that I will never use this service again and not only will I not recommend it, I will go out of my way to discourage anyone else from using Premier Global.

I hate giving this company even 1 star, if I could I'd give them a minus 10 stars. People hear of scamming little old ladies out of money and taking advantage of them but that's exactly what happened with Global Premier Van Lines. A month before my move on October 4 I received a call from this company giving me a quote for my move from New Mexico to Florida. I spoke with a salesman named Cecil who was quite charming and full of what I thought to be useful information. I thought I had asked all the right questions and of course he had an answer for all of them. I went over my inventory with Cecil and was given a quote of $7200 for a three bedroom home. I read all of the (what I know now to be fake) reviews so I sent a deposit of $2200. The day before the movers were supposed to be there I was called by another lady by the name of Anna.....I again went over my inventory and added a few boxes and a piece of furniture and suddenly my quote came to $12000 because I had added somethings. I told her that was a ridiculous amount of difference and I wanted to cancel using them. I was quickly told I'd lose my $2200 deposit because we were passed the 72 hour cancellation date (even though no one called me 72 hours before) so my deposit would not be refunded. Then she added that when the driver arrived we could go over the inventory again and the price would probably go down. Because I was now in a bind and believed when we went over the inventory with the driver the price would go down. I sent another $5465 as a deposit and was told the mover's would pack up my remaining items at no extra charge. I had to send the extra money via a wire from my bank. The day the movers got there they called me as they were pulling into my driveway not 24 hours before. The movers that came were from Alpine Van Lines which I had never heard of or was told about. The first thing they wanted to do was another inventory to determine the final price. As we went through the inventory which hadn't actually changed from the 2nd one, I was told I went over my square footage by doubling my inventory....which wasn't true. The drive called Anna back and I said once again this is not what I was told and I wanted to cancel my move and wanted my money refunded. She told me again I would lose my deposit of over $7200. I had no other choice but to stay with them because I couldn't afford to lose that much money. I did a walk through of my house and did a piece by piece inventory and when it was added up they now wanted $18000 and I was told they would not help me pack any of my belongings as was promised. By this time I had no way of getting my money back or my stuff packed. On top of that I told them I would leave my living room furniture, China cabinet, barbecue grill, a desk and other items behind just to get the price down. It didn't make any difference in the price because I was supposably over my square footage. When the driver ask for an additional $7000 rather than the $5466 I was told I'd be paying and that the balance would be due on deliverance of my stuff. I refused

to pay it and only gave them the $5466. I was told the truck would be here for delivery on October 10th or no later than October 11th....here I set with no truck showing up and it October 19th. I have called every number I can find, sent text, left messages and sent emails but I can't get anyone to respond. Because I have had such a bad experience I decided to call the BBB and the Attorney General office in both New Mexico and Florida....and no surprise they have had a number of complaints lodged against them for scamming other people. I also plan to get a Lawyer and sue these people for fraud and extortion. They will hold your belongings hostage and are not even fazed by your pleads or theft of your belongings. I have gone into a lot of detail with this review because I'm sure there are other people who have been scammed by them.....I'm asking those people to call the Attorney General office and the BBB and keep these people from doing this to others. They need to be put out of business and I will do everything I can to see that happen. Please don't be another victim.... avoid at all cost....it's a total scam.

They arrived on schedule and responded quickly because on the day of the transfer my freight elevator did not work. They work very efficiently, and they are not careless. They helped me to have my boxes. They charge extra for wardrobe boxes and boxes for mirrors and paintings (but all moving companies do that). They moved all of my furniture right where I wanted it to be in the new place. These guys were just making it easy to get through. I'll recommend it to family and friends.

Do not trust any of these 5 star reviews. This company was a nightmare to work with. We cancelled the services because of the honest reviews on google 2 months before we were moving (aka well out of the 72 hour contractual cancellation window) and they 1. Haven’t refunded us the deposit (which they tried to make us pay over Venmo) and 2. Will not answer our calls or emails. Sketch AF company, save your time and money and just invest in a pod or something that’s actually reliable and legitimate.
